It really just blows my mind when you find a dog in a shelter who is not a barker, does not jump up on people, is not out of control, is calm and sweet, loves kids, is great with cats and other small animals, and is pretty too! It's not that I understand people who give up dogs because they're a bit out of control (hello TRAINING FOLKS), but I really don't understand it when the dog has no behavioral issues.
The shelter thought she was dumped because of a foreclosure (she wasn't even brought to the shelter -- she was dumped somewhere and picked up as a stray).
